Orange-Spotted Prepona Couple - Prepona brooksiana

The upper side of the wings displays a stunning combination of deep and vibrant colors. The base color of the wings is typically a rich velvety black or dark brown, forming a striking contrast with the bright iridescent blue or purple patches and orange marks that adorn the wings. Rarely offered.

A male and female pairing of Prepona brooksiana butterfly specimens in a premium open grain wooden frame. The scientific and common names are printed on acid free card and the frame is sealed with silicone to keep the specimens safe from hungry museum beetles and other such pests. 

Care & Maintenance

Keep out of direct sunlight and high humidity. You can wipe the frames clean with a dry cloth but be careful; they are delicate!
